I checked it out , wrong James clan.
There is also a James ,Griffin( my mothers maiden name) clan.
They to are people of color, I don't believe there is any relation but you never know.

Thanks, Pat. I understand about getting the hang of this site!! I found your answer from before but it is good to have the comment with the picture so everyone can see it. It is so awesome to have a picture of this house. My sister Lori lived in Maryland for a while and is now in NJ. I will send her on a day trip. Got a hold of her this morning to join the James site. I sent two of my friends to check out this site and gave the the address JamesFamily.ning.com...did not look at the address...anyway one of them called the next morning to ask if I was trying to tell them something...and wanted to know who Bugg was...I was confused so she said to go to the address I gave them...if you go there you will see what they were talking about...our address in FamilyJames.ning.com I gave them JamesFamily.ning.com....try it and let me know

I think I posted on wrong page , still getting hang of the site.
The Geeting Farm is located in or near Keedysville,Washington county,Maryland.
It's on the National Register of Historic Places.
I imagine it's open to the public.
