Hello Pamela,

Thank you for the comment.

I have not been in touch with any of my family members. My father Rodney H. James and I are not close. It is very nice and hear from some of the James family. Mike was the first one to get in touch with me and now you. I don’t want to sound all weird however I did feel a little something seeing the two comments from you and Mike. I don’t even know any of you and yet I have the connection with all of you.

I hope we all keep in touch. (rkeithjames2@yahoo.com)

I will post some new pictures soon.

Pamela,
I just found some photos and a letter from your dad to my dad in 1997.
He says this is the first letter he has written to dad (I'm guessing the only one). The first page talks about them both dealing with prostate cancer, it's very fuuny but a little personal so I wasn't sure you would want it posted. Iam posting the pictures and the second page of the letter as it tells about the photos.

Very cool, very classic photographs.
I haven't made all the connections to the people in them yet.
But I'am sure over time thanks to this web site I'll get it figured out. Thanks for posting them.

I knew the Manila,Io. James'es and even stayed over nite with them back in 49 or 50. Frank and I believe Verna. Is that correct? Met George and his brother, whom , as I recall, was older than George. It has been a couple days since this all happened. Frank sent popcorn to my grandmother every xmas. It was very good but difficult to get off the ear.

Hi Pamela,
I'm related to David James, who is Edward, Robert, and Jane's younger brother. I am trying to find more info on their parents, Robert and Catharine. David is my great great grandfather on my dad's side. I am absolutely so excited that Mike found me this morning, as I have been at a dead end on this for a few years now! I'm looking forward to researching and sharing info with all of you! Tammy

Hello Pamela
The Geeting Farm is located in or near Keedysville, Washington County,
Maryland.
It's on the National Register of Historic Places.
There's quite a bit of info on-line .
I plan on doing more research.
It's really interesting.

Great Pamela! A relative that loves good wine is welcome to live next to me. We're looking at Healdsburg, a very nice little wine country town with about 50 restaurants and a dozen wine tasting rooms.
