I spent almost 27 years in the Navy, April, 1979 - February, 2006. Retired as a Master Chief Petty Officer (E-9). I was born in Salida, Colorado, But spent a lot of my early years growing up in Lafayette and Longmont, Colorado. I did spend three years in San Diego going to high school 1975-1978 before moving back to Longmont and then joining the Navy.

Will probally take the afternoon off for some down time.
I also talked to Mike it was already my birthday in Ireland.
It has been pretty quiet on the site lately maybe some of Mikes postings will help generate interest and get people back on.
I've got lots' of pictures and some videos but I did't want people to think this site was just about us. Maybe I'll just try to blog a little everyday.
I know people just get busy with there lives and sometimes it's hard to find the time
